Zoom's new DNA neural engine goes much further, modelling how classic amps and effects respond as you move every knob and parameter, so players get the authentic sound, feel and control of the real thing. NEURIG ships with 30 of these DNA amp and effect models.

It also natively supports NAM (Neural Amp Modeler), the open-source capture format with a massive community behind it. Through Zoom's SessionZ Pedal app, players get free access to more than 700,000 TONE3000 captures and IRs, from boutique pedals to vintage amps, so the library of tones is practically endless. From December 2026, NEURIG will also capture players' own amps and pedals, making it what Zoom calls the world's first pedal with NAM A2 capture.

All of that fits in a compact metal pedal weighing just 850 grams, alongside 139 stackable effects, dual touchscreens, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, a USB audio interface, looper, tuner and a built-in rechargeable battery good for up to 4.5 hours.

Build your own signal chain from guitar effects, amp models and cabinet simulations, including the DNA-based models found in the Drive, Amp Head and Amp+Cabinet categories. A single rig accommodates up to 14 blocks, depending on how much processing power is left. Touch a block to adjust its settings, and drag effects around to rearrange the chain however you like.

• 200 rig slots: store separate setups for each song, guitar or playing style.
• Twin touchscreens: shape your tone right on the display, with a push-and-turn CONTROL knob for selecting and fine-tuning.
• Versatile routing: the Splitter, Mixer and Line Selector tools let you run effects in parallel or switch between separate paths.

Four footswitches, two ways to play.

Program mode lets you store up to four snapshots per rig, each capturing which effects are on or off along with their parameter settings. Dial in clean, crunch, rhythm and lead tones, then switch between them with your foot as the song unfolds. In this mode, every effect can hold three sets of parameter values.

Rather work like a traditional pedalboard? Stomp mode gives each footswitch its own effect. Swipe across to Stage View for larger program or effect names that are easy to read mid-performance.

Bring your own pedals and amps

The send/return loop lets you slot an outboard pedal anywhere in your virtual rig, or hook up a compatible amp via the four-cable method. Those same sockets can double as a sub output and sub input, so you could drive a stage amp while the main stereo outputs feed the PA.

MIDI IN/OUT and USB MIDI let NEURIG work alongside your other MIDI gear. Plug a compatible ZOOM FP02M expression pedal or FS01 footswitch into the CONTROL IN socket for extra hands-free control.

Practise, loop and record

• Bluetooth audio playback: stream tracks from your phone or tablet and jam along through NEURIG.
• Built-in looper: capture phrases of up to 45 seconds, layer overdubs, and undo or redo as your ideas take shape.
• Onboard tuner: choose between mute and bypass while you tune.
• USB-C audio interface: record your processed tone straight to a compatible computer, phone or tablet via 2-in/2-out audio at 48 kHz, in 32-bit float or 24-bit.
• Rechargeable battery: roughly 4.5 hours of playing time, though this varies with settings and usage.
