INSTRUMENTS AND AMPLIFIERS
Free courier shipping on all instruments over $999 to designated areas* – some exceptions apply. Express shipping is available for a $79 additional fee.
Shipments on orders below $499 in designated metro areas will incur a shipping charge of $69 for Standard Shipping or $149 for Express Shipping. Orders between $499 and $999 will incur a shipping charge of $49 for Standard Shipping or $129 for Express Shipping.
Exemptions: TAS / WA / NT / FNQ and any non-metro or rural areas. Shipments on orders to these areas below $499 will incur a shipping charge of $129 for Standard Shipping or $199 for Express Shipping. Orders between $499 and $1999 will incur a shipping charge of $99 for Standard Shipping or $179 for Express Shipping.
Used items ship at a flat rate of $69 to designated metro areas and $99 outside of those areas.
Heavy items may incur additional freight charges, based on courier rates. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.
ACCESSORIES
Free standard Australia Post shipping on all accessories over $99 Australia-wide. Express shipping is available for an additional $15. Orders below $99 incur a flat rate shipping charge of $11.

All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking via courier or Australia Post. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery. Please note that all instruments, amplifiers and large items will require a signature on delivery. We cannot give authority to leave an item without a signature unless we have the purchasers written authority to do so.

Its a vast country and unfortunately freight costs have increased significantly. If we see an issue we will contact you to discuss and we will always offer a full refund.

Returns
You are entitled to a refund OR repair OR exchange OR credit if the products you’ve bought are:
When you buy, you should choose carefully. You don’t automatically get a refund for simply changing your mind.
If you have a item that you are wanting to return you may REQUEST a return by emailing us at info@basscentre.com.au or call 03 9696 6561.
Requesting a return does not automatically mean that we will accept the return. We need to assess the situation and then we will respond with the course of action to be taken.
Returns will attract a 8% restocking fee and freight costs if there is no fault with the product.
Requests for returns will only be accepted within 5 days of you receiving the goods unless you have a warrantee claim. You will be responsible for return shipping costs unless the product was shipped by us incorrectly. Credits and refunds are limited to the cost of the goods excluding freight charges.
Cancellations
Order Cancellations will incur a 3% Cancellation Fee. This is due to the banking fees that we incur on every transaction, we can not recover these fees from financial institutions. The 3% Fee is to cover the costs that we incur by these institutions.
Delivery Times
All delivery times are estimates only. We can not be responsible for any delays that are outside of our control. Most deliveries of items that we have in stock occur within 7 days with most East Coast capital city deliveries taking 1-5 days. We endeavour to give you the most accurate information in relation to delivery times. We will not accept an order cancellation due to a delivery delay.
Special orders, custom orders and non stock items that are ordered from overseas have an estimated delivery date. We will not be held responsible if these dates are not met by our suppliers, and a failure to deliver goods by a particular date will not be accepted as a reason for an order cancellation unless agreed to by The Bass Centre.
