Sadowsky MetroExpress 20-Fret Ultra Vintage P Bass — 4-String, Roasted Maple Fingerboard, Sherwood Green

Bring home a genuine piece of Sadowsky tone at a MetroExpress price. The 20-Fret Ultra Vintage P Bass takes Roger Sadowsky's classic vintage P design and refines it with his proprietary active electronics, lightweight tuners and carefully selected tonewoods — the result is a bass that punches well above its price point.

The lightweight solid Okoume body is finished in a stunning Sherwood Green, dressed up with a tortoise pickguard, giving it classic vintage look whilst delivering modern feels and playability. The roasted maple neck is fast and stable, a 38.5mm nut provides a super slim and fast feeling profile that delivers an ease of playability that few P style basses can muster. A matching roasted maple fingerboard and a 12" radius for comfortable, modern playability as well as fast responce and rock solid stability.

A single Sadowsky passive P-style pickup delivers the classic thump, while Sadowsky's active 2-way preamp (Bass and Treble boost, with push/pull bypass) means you're never stuck with just one tone — dial in vintage growl or push it into modern, hi-fi territory whenever the gig calls for it.

Never harsh, never muddy — just that famous Sadowsky sound: powerful low end, present defining mids, and a sweet, airy top end. This is a modern P delivering a brilliant combination of playability and feel combined with modern tonal shaping capabilities to take you beyond the confines of a traditional P style bass
