The Lakland Skyline 55-02 Deluxe bass is the ultimate choice for bass players who perform at bar gigs late in the week, tour on the weekends and do recording sessions inbetween. Basically, this is one of the most versatile professional basses available. The 55-02 provides a precise feel and unparalleled sonic flexibility, allowing you to deliver exceptional performances with whatever tone you need for the gig. Tonal versatility is the name of the game here, with its Humbucker/J pickup configuration you can tap whatever tone you need quickly and accurately.

Featuring a Solid Ash body with a flame maple top, the 55-02 looks Deluxe. The deep cutaway body design provides outstanding access to the entire fretboard. The combination of Ash and maple is synonimous with clarity, definition and punch, its long been a go to combination for session players who need to deliver everything from modern to retro.

A dual-coil humbucking pickup in the bridge gives you fat, tight tones with girth, while the J-style single-coil pickup in the neck position offers a pallet of mellow, warm and open tones.
