Description

Fender Vintera® III Early '70s Jazz Bass

The Fender® Vintera® III Early '70s Jazz Bass® is a faithful recreation of one of the most iconic eras in electric bass history — built for players who want genuine vintage character without the vintage price tag.

At its core is an alder body paired with a maple neck and your choice of maple or rosewood fingerboard, delivering the punchy, articulate tone that defined the Fender® sound. The early '70s "C"-shape neck profile feels immediately familiar, finished with binding and block inlays, a 7.25" radius fingerboard, and vintage-tall frets that reward traditional playing technique.

Two vintage-style early '70s single-coil pickups sit at the heart of the instrument, reproducing the warm, woody clarity that made the Jazz Bass® a studio and stage staple across five decades. A 4-saddle vintage-style bridge locks in solid intonation and sustain, while period-correct tuning machines keep you in tune through long sets.

Every detail of the Vintera® III series exists to tell one story — and this bass tells it beautifully
