Epiphone Thunderbird 64 Ember Red includes Gig Bag

When you hear the word Thunderbird, you think about one of the most iconic shapes in guitar history.  Originally designed by renowned automotive designer Ray Dietrich, the Thunderbird has carved its way through rock n roll history with a look and tone that no other bass can replicate. Delivering incredible sustain courtesy of its nine-ply neck-through-body construction and mighty low-end punch delivered by its two bass humbucker™ pickups, the Thunderbird is a beast wether you are on stage or in the studio. 

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the groundbreaking Gibson Thunderbird, Epiphone proudly introduces the Thunderbird ’64. Drawing inspiration from vintage Gibson T-Bird basses of that era, the Thunderbird ’64 stays true to the timeless elements that made the originals legendary. From the nine-ply mahogany and walnut neck-through-body construction to the instantly recognizable hot-stamped Thunderbird logo on the three-ply pickguard, every detail echoes the classic design.

Unveiling the Thunderbird ’64 from its premium gig bag and plugging it in reveals its deep, rich tone, brought to life by a pair of powerful Pro-Bucker™ 760 Bass humbucker pickups paired with CTS® potentiometers. While modern features like the Graph Tech® nut and Clover-button tuners with a 19:1 gear ratio ensure solid tuning stability, the focus remains on delivering vintage vibes.

Included in the package is a premium gig bag to protect your instrument.
