Born in the heart of NYC and raised on the road, the Tone Hammer Preamp DI has been an indispensable tool for bassists seeking inspiring tone and versatility. With its warm, rich, and dynamic sound, the Tone Hammer Preamp is an essential preamp/direct box for every bassist. The Tone Hammer features fullysweepable midrange frequencies, in addition to bass and treble controls. With the Tone Hammer’s pristine D.I., players are set for either studio or stage. Enhanced for even greater flexibility, the updated Drive circuit nowprovides an expanded range, allowing for increased gain and a dedicated control to finely tune your sound. You can go from modern slap sounds to vintage or overdriven, and everything in between. 18-volt operation gives the Tone Hammer plenty of headroom, andwe’ve added a Headphone Out and Aux In, making it the perfect practice companion, whether on the road or at home.
