Sire Marcus Miller M5 4 String with Deluxe Sire Gig Bag
The Sire M5 is a modern five-string-friendly design (also available in 4-string) that offers a lot of instrument for the money. Developed with Marcus Miller, it combines a comfortable, contemporary body shape with a stable multi-piece neck and a versatile active preamp, making it equally at home for fingerstyle, slap, or pick playing across a wide range of styles.
The neck is a big part of its appeal. A 5-piece construction adds stability, the ebony fingerboard feels smooth and responsive, and the rolled fingerboard edges give it a comfortable, played-in feel straight out of the box.
Tonally, the Marcus Pure-H humbucker and Marcus Heritage preamp deliver a strong, well-defined sound with plenty of range to shape. You can dial in a round, warm tone for supportive lines or bring up the mids and highs for a punchier, more articulate voice when slapping or playing up front in a mix.
For players looking for a well-made, versatile bass that plays easily and covers a lot of ground, the M5 represents excellent value.
