Roger Sadowsky has refined an already iconic bass design through careful detail improvements and custom electronics, elevating the classic J/J sound to a new level. The result is what players now recognise as the Sadowsky tone: deep and defined lows, present but never overbearing mids, and sweet, airy highs — modern and musical without ever sounding harsh.
The MetroLine series is manufactured exclusively in Germany and brings this signature sound to a vintage-inspired 21-fret platform. At approximately 4.0 kg, it's also a practical choice for players seeking a lightweight stage instrument without compromising tone. This five-string model features a slightly reduced J-Style body in a stunning Solid Olympic White High Polish finish with tortoiseshell pickguard.
