Kala Flatwound U•BASS® 4-String Set by Gallistrings 

Chrome steel wrapped around a nylon core, the U•BASS® Flatwound 4-String Set by Gallistrings enables fast and stable intonation, bringing a warmth and consistency to your U•BASS® like never before.

These high-tension U•BASS® strings offer a timbre and maneuverability akin to the double bass. Smooth to the touch, the chrome flatwound tape allows your fingers to glide around the fretboard and helps protect the neck from wear and tear—perfect for any acoustic fretted or fretless U•BASS®:

  • Only compatible with Acoustic-Electric U•BASS® Instruments*
  • 4-String sets includes: EADG
  • Designed for the traditional bass tuning (EADG)
  • Suitable for 20“ - 21" Scale
  • Manufactured with Flatwound Chrome Steel & a Nylon Core
  • Gauges:  .060 (1.52 mm), .080 (2.03 mm), .100 (2.54 mm), .130 (3.30 mm)

 

*Modifications to the nut slots and string holes by an experienced instrument technician may be required. As a streamlined alternative to modifications to the existing nut, the Flat Wound U•BASS® Nut by TUSQ® is available for purchase, to be installed by an experienced instrument technician only.  Due to the change to a higher tension as well, a truss rod adjustment is also recommended.

**Not for use on Solid Body U•BASS®

***Modifications performed by the user will void the manufacturer warranty. Please also note that Kala is not responsible for damages to instruments caused by new string installments.

All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking via courier or Australia Post. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery. Please note that all instruments, amplifiers and large items will require a signature on delivery. We cannot give authority to leave an item without a signature

Occasionally, due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer shipping. We reserve the right to cancel an order if freight costs are exessive. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.
