Roger Sadowsky has always improved bass design by making some very unique and important enhancements. Thanks to his proprietary special electronics, light-weight tuners and selected tone wood, Roger offers you the Sadowsky MetroExpress 21-Fret Vintage J/J 6-String Bass, an instrument at home both on stage and at home. Features include a light-weight solid Okoume body fitted with J/J pickups, finished in Tobacco Sunburst Transparent High Polish with a parchment pickguard, a roasted maple neck and a roasted maple fingerboard. Together this makes one formidable bass that you are going to love to play! Best of all, the accessible price gives you access to that famous Sadowsky tone: Never harsh or shrill sounding, with strong, powerful but never muddy bass, with present, but not too aggressive mids, and a sweet, airy treble.

Featuring an Okume body which gives you the classic warm tones of alder, beautiful mids and low mid growl whilst also producing a solid bottom end. The body is contoured and slightly reduced in size to give you that added Sadowsky comfort. 

The new noiseless JJ pickups allow you to solo out your pickup of choice and drill down into the tones. The Vintage JJ features a twin J pickup configuration which delivers superb tonal articulation. If you want to slice through the mix and have clarity and definition, this is your bass. Combine all of this with Sadowsky's brilliant 2 band active preamp and you have an instrument designed to perfom seemlessly live and in the studio.
