Sire Marcus Miller M7 5 string 2nd Generation
New features for V2 includes updated Marcus Pure-H Revolution pickups, Maple and Ebony fingerboards with medium frets featuring rolled fingerboard edges and a satin neck finish for playing comfort.
The M7 features a flamed maple top on an Ash body with a gloss finish. Maple neck and Ebony fretboard. The M7 is designed to produce any tone that the players desire with the SIRE Heritage-3 preamp active/passive option and with humbucker pickups with individual setting options (single, humbucker, and serial-parallel).
Marcus Miller Pure-H Revolution pickup set is a dual coil pickup set wound with heavy formvar coils. This pickup has strong output and produces tight and punchy full spectrum tone with excellent low end, mids and tops.
Equipped with a heavy mass bridge, the string vibration is accurately passed into the body delivering a resonate full rich tone.
The onboard SIRE preamp delivers multiple tone controls, you can have total command in getting the tone you want. Wired as an 18v preamp, it has a load of headroom which ensures that your signal is always clean and powerful. With 3 band active EQ you have excellent tonal versatility.
All models come with option for active and passive setting.
