NEO IV CABINETS

Introducing the new NEO IV line of bass cabinets from Gallien-Krueger. Building off the previous generation, the NEO IV series features an upgraded look, construction, and feature set. The new form factor is shared with the Fusion and Legacy combos, making the 112 an ideal extension cabinet for those combos as well as a standalone cabinet for GK's Legacy and Fusion heads.

CABINET CONSTRUCTION

The NEO IV series is built from lightweight, void-free plywood with ample internal bracing for a remarkably sturdy enclosure. Internal damping material absorbs high frequencies from the rear of the speaker, preventing them from exiting the port and interfering with front-facing output — resulting in a smooth, pleasing high-end response. A steel grill, ultra-tough cabinet coating, and metal corner protectors ensure the enclosure withstands heavy gigging use while maintaining its appearance over time.

SPEAKERS

The NEO IV 112 incorporates a custom neodymium woofer designed and manufactured in-house by GK. Die-cast frames are used exclusively, delivering greater durability and power handling than common stamped-frame designs. Voice coils use edge-wound aluminium ribbon wire, which is significantly more efficient and has higher power handling than standard round wire. The NEO IV also features a real crossover and a protection circuit for the horn against excessive power bursts.
