PRE-ORDER DEPOSIT. This is purely a $100 deposit, total price will be $519 so a balance of $419 will be due when the stock arrives. Orders placed after July have an eta of Feb 2026.....we wish it was sooner but MXR are doing the best they can to meet the demand for this insane pedal! 

Designed with low-end professor and tone connoisseur Ian Martin Allison, the MXR Bass Synth is a powerhouse of a pedal offers thunderous sub-octave, expressive envelope, and lush modulation effects with killer tracking and sustain—plus all the features you need to shape every detail of your tone.

Key Features:

  • Sub Mix, Mod & Envelope Controls: Shape your tone from smooth sweeps to bold pulses.

  • Voice & Shape Buttons: Add harmonics and choose triangle, sawtooth, or square waveforms.

  • Mix, Cutoff & Resonance: Dial in the perfect filter and dry/wet blend.

  • 8 Classic Presets: Instantly access tones inspired by hits like Thriller and Chameleon.

  • Advanced Options: Stereo mode, preset cycling, external control, and more.

From church gigs to big stages, the MXR Bass Synth delivers vintage vibes and futuristic funk.

This pedal requires a 9-volt (330 mA) center-negative power supply and can be powered by the Dunlop ECB003 9-volt adapter or the MXR Iso-Brick, the Iso-Brick Pro, and the Iso-Brick Mini Power Supplies. This pedal cannot be powered by a battery.

 Controls:

  • VOICE ButtonAdds harmonically tuned oscillators for more complex tones

  • CUTOFF KnobSets the 4-pole resonant low-pass filter’s cutoff frequency

  • MIX KnobSets the mix between dry and synth signals

  • SUB MIX KnobBlends between the main synth signal and sub-octave

  • JACKS
    Input: Mono
    Output: TRS jack for stereo output
    CTR: Expression/tap input or right-channel output

  • Power: 9VDC center-negative, 330mA

  • FOOTSWITCH
    Tap: Engage/bypass effect
    Hold: Scroll through presets (tap to cycle, hold again or wait to exit)
    Freeze NoteHold footswitch + turn RESONANCE knob fully clockwise to activate Hold footswitch to freeze the current synth noteTo disable, hold footswitch + turn RESONANCE fully counterclockwise

  • SHAPE Button – Selects oscillator waveform: 
    Triangle: Subtle and smooth 
    Sawtooth: Rich and aggressive
    Square: Fat, rubbery punch

  • ENVELOPE KnobControls filter envelope attack/decay
    Fully counterclockwise = envelope off

      Lower = fast, plucky response
      Higher = slow, sweeping effect

       

    • MOD KnobSets modulation depth

    • RESONANCE KnobBoosts gain at the cutoff frequency for sharper, more expressive tone

    • PRESETS ButtonSelects from 8 built-in presets

    Why not rent the gear you want? Rental payments are listed on each product, you can choose either a 6 month or 12 month minimum rental period contract. You can choose to purchase your gear during the contract, you can return the goods after the rental period or you can continue renting.  Rental Payments and buy out figures are listed on all applicable products.     All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking via courier or Australia Post. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery. Please note that all instruments, amplifiers and large items will require a signature on delivery. We cannot give authority to leave an item without a signature

    Occasionally, due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer shipping. We reserve the right to cancel an order if freight costs are exessive.
