Warwick RockBass Streamer NT I — Premium Construction, Exceptional Value
For over three decades, Warwick has been building some of the most revered bass guitars on the planet. The RockBass Streamer NT I sits at the very top of the RockBass range, bringing genuine premium construction and that unmistakable Warwick voice to players who demand more from their instrument without paying boutique prices.
The Tone You've Been Chasing
The Streamer NT I is built to deliver Warwick's signature sound in its fullest form. The active MEC P/J pickups offer a versatile spread of tones ranging from rumbling lows to mellow highs, covering everything from deep, warm fingerstyle playing to punchy, aggressive rock tones. These MEC pickups are wonderfully transparent and let the Streamer's tonewoods shine, but they also take well to driving tones for pop, rock, metal, and more. The onboard 2-way active preamp with volume, balance, bass, and treble controls gives you precise tonal shaping on the fly, whether you are tracking in the studio or cutting through a loud stage mix.
Hardware That Performs
The Streamer NT I is equipped with Warwick's full suite of premium hardware. The iconic two piece Warwick bridge provides excellent string to body vibration transfer along with full adjustability for intonation, action, and string spacing. The chrome finished brass nut and bridge deliver rich, clear tone and superior vibrational transfer, with brass being a traditional material used in quality instruments for centuries. Warwick's ergonomically angled machine heads make tuning fast and accurate, while the Just-A-Nut III allows for easy tool free adjustments to nut slot height. Warwick security strap locks are also included, a small but appreciated touch that tells you this bass was designed with working musicians in mind.
A Neck Built for Players
The neck on the Streamer NT I is where this instrument truly distinguishes itself from anything else at the price. A core of maple with ekanga veneer stripes forms the neck through portion of the bass, joined by a pair of lightweight alder wings, creating a construction that is rigid, resonant, and beautifully stable. The wenge fingerboard is smooth and fast under the fingers, and the comfortable C profile suits a wide range of playing styles. With 24 extra high jumbo nickel silver frets across a 34 inch scale and 20 inch fingerboard radius, every note rings out with clarity and confidence from the open strings all the way up to the dusty end of the neck.
Built for Serious Players
The defining feature of the Streamer NT I, and the thing that sets it apart from every other bass in the RockBass lineup, is its neck through construction. Unlike bolt on designs, the neck runs the full length of the body, resulting in improved resonance, seamless upper register access, and sustain that simply cannot be matched at this price point. This advanced construction brings everything into harmonic unity, with choice tonewoods, active pickups, and precision hardware all working together to produce an instrument that punches well above its price tag.
Whether you are a gigging musician looking for a reliable workhorse, a recording bassist chasing that perfect tone, or a serious player ready to step into truly premium RockBass territory, the Streamer NT I delivers at every level. This is Warwick at its most accessible, and it shows in every note you play.
