The V5R is an all-new, vintage-style passive bass guitar in Sire's popular Marcus Miller V Series. Utilising the same sleek J body shape, the V5 a features premium appointments such as an aldert body, classic tone would that has stood the test of time over the past 60 years, delivering warmth and clarity like fewer the tone Woods can. The bass features Sires Edgeless™ Rosewood fingerboard which delivers comfort and playability. At the heart of the V5R is a set of Marcus Miller-approved Vintage Fat-J Revolution pickups with '70s spacing, this allows for pick ups to deliver more poke in mid range focus than a 60s positioning, delivering Marcus' signature punchy tones with ease.

The V5R delivers everything you need with nothing that you don't. Classic Tone Woods are at the foundation of the V5R, delivering familiar tones with absolute ease. Passive pick ups in electronics allow for a natural, organic representation of these tone Woods, in combination you get a high quality instrument that references some of the most heard bass tones in history.
