The super rare Custom Shop 1970 Journeyman Precision Bass takes you straight back to the rock n roll 70's era owhen bass was bold and upfront in the mix. Its lightweight Ash body (ash on Aged White Blonde model) features comfortably deep contours and a "Journeyman" relic lacquer finish, which imparts the appearance of years of aging and light use without heavy wear and tear. The tinted quartersawn maple neck and maple fretboard deliver great attack and definition, combine this with the bell like qualities of Ash and you get a P that can swing from mellow to bitey with the twist of the tone control.
