Sandberg VM5 Hardcore Aged Cream

From our good friends at Sandberg Germany....we give you the "Hardcore Aged" VM5 

  • Hand Built in German
  • P + MM pickup configuration
  • Maple Neck and fretboard
  • Alder Body
  • Nickel Hardware
  • Active 2 band preamp 
  • Passive switch with master tone control
  • Slim profile neck
  • 34" scale
  • 45mm Nut width

The Sandberg VM5 is a brilliant instrument combining classic tones with modern twists. It is incredibly comfortable, light weight and perfectly balanced. This Alder body, Maple neck and fretboard combination delivers warm defined tones with brilliant low end definition and sweet crisp highs. 

The VM5 uses a Delano MM humbucker in the bridge position and a Delano Split P in the neck position, both running through a switchable 2 band active preamp. This pickup/preamp combination delivery you an amazingly versatile instrument that delivers round open bottom end courtesy of the split P pickup  or wind in the Humbucker for absolute more focus and immediacy in the lower registers. 

The volume control doubles as a push/pull active passive switch which also turns the treble pot into a passive tone control. Go from total active versatility to sweet passive tones with a flick of the switch

The neck is slim and fast with a 14" radius and measuring 45mm wide at the nut, string spacing at the bridge is 18mm. Featuring a zero fret to deliver consistent string tones whether fretted or open.

Occasionally, due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer shipping. We reserve the right to cancel an order if freight costs are exessive. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.
