The rosewood fingerboard is flawlessly finished, with smoothly rounded edges and 22 banjo-sized frets. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAside from the multi-scale design, visually, the new matte black pickguard delivers a striking contrast to the body colours and feels great under the fingers. In addition to this you can customise your bass further by purchasing one of Dingwalls pickguards, which started out as a hand-painted design by Hugh Fisher. Dingwall digitised Hugh’s designs and had them UV printed. Each one is slightly transparent, so the colour of the body also influences the look of the pickguard.
