I wish I had a looping pedal I just used a delay pedal (that a fernid sold me for cheap -$15!) and carefully timed my playing so it would sound OK. You can delay the sound coming out of the amp with that pedal, and it repeats only a few times, getting quieter with each repeat. Kind of like an echo in a cave. Time it right and you can play a round (like singing a round of row row your boat ) with yourself.
