The sleek silhouette of the Pro-Mod San Dimas® Bass PJ IV MAH harkens back to the iconic Charvel San Dimas basses of the late 1970s. Its design, reminiscent of those classics, boasts a deeper cutaway for effortless access to the upper register, ideal for adventurous bassists.

Crafted with precision, the super-thin bolt-on maple Charvel speed neck maintains the original style, enhanced with a luscious caramelized treatment. Reinforced with graphite and featuring a heel-mount truss rod wheel, adjusting is a breeze. The 12”-16” compound radius caramelized maple fingerboard ensures swift, seamless playability, flattening gradually from nut to heel. Its edges are rolled for comfort, hosting 20 jumbo frets and illuminated Luminlay® side dots.

True to its heritage, the Pro-Mod San Dimas® Bass PJ IV MAH packs the robust sound of DiMarzio® pickups. A Model J™ at the bridge delivers rounded punch, while a Model P® in the middle yields warm, fat tones with a chunk of mid-range growl when pushed. The bass's electronics are versatile, featuring a three-band active EQ, pickup blend control, and a master volume control equipped with a push/pull selector. This selector ensures uninterrupted play, bypassing the EQ’s active circuit with a quick pull on the volume knob, thus restoring sound without relying on battery power.

Ensuring exceptional tuning stability, the bass incorporates a Charvel HiMass™ bridge, Graph Tech® TUSQ® XL nut, and open-gear tuners. Presented in Natural Mahogany and Satin Ferrari Red finishes with chrome hardware, cream pickup covers, and the iconic licensed Fender® Precision Bass® headstock shape, this 4-string bass exudes both classic charm and modern performance.
